The Big Loop
A simple physics-based sandbox created for the GMTK 2025 Game Jam. Draw roads, and place loops to give your car a speed boost!
How to Play:
When you start the game, you are in Build mode, where you can create a track for cars to drive on.
![]() | Line Draw: This tool allows you to draw straight lines that snap to endpoints on loops and other lines! | Right click to place endpoints Left click on an endpoint to draw a line |
![]() | Loop Draw: This tool allows you to place loops in the scene! Select a size, then click the loop icon to start placing. | Left click to place |
![]() | Eraser: This tool lets you remove loops, endpoints, and paths. | Left click an object to erase it |
When you are ready to start sending cars down your path, click . This will take you to simulation mode, where you can send cars and marbles down the track!
![]() | Spawn Car: This button spawns a small car onto the track |
![]() | Spawn Marble: This button spawns a perfectly round marble onto the track |
![]() | Edit Spawnpoint: This toggle allows you to move the current spawning location of cars and marbles! When edit mode is on, an icon will appear that you can left click and drag around the scene |
Return to the build screen and clear cars and marbles by pressing .
Experimental Features
These are powerful features that may have some bugs. Use at your own risk! :)
![]() | Free Draw: This button allows you to draw a line of any shape or size for cars to drive on | Known issue: Sometimes, using this feature will prevent the line drawing button from working as normal |
![]() | Clear All: This button clears all roads and endpoints from the scene | Watch out! This button also deletes the grass, so if used, cars won't land on the grass |
